Why are Boro Administrator Joe Brigandi and developers Dante Germano (Nexus) and Tom Fore (Sora) partners in Glassboro Partners, LLC http://glassboropartners.org/? Boro Administrator Joe Brigandi should be having Glassboro’s best interest involved, how is that possible when he has a partnership in a private company involving two developers that Bid on Boro contracts?

While we are questioning government positions and ethics we discovered an interesting trail of properties and business relationships. It appears that our Chief of Police Alex Fanfarillo and Water & Sewer Superintendent Greg Sawyer have formed a partnership with two contractors Hardy Metcalf; who owns HHM Contracting, Justice Farms LLC, and Alternative Electric as well as Robert Reilly; owner of RJ Reilly Electric. Between Hardy Metcalf and RJ Reilly (who donated in excess of $40,000 to the Glassboro Democrats in campaign contributions) the Boro has awarded them with well over $5 Million in work in the last few years for various “bid” projects. We question the ethics of such “business” relationships mixing government employees and contractors who bid for these employees projects. Together you can see by the documents below they own a property in Pitman, NJ. Greg Sawyer has a hand in the bidding process for projects, is that why Hardy Metcalf from HHM received over $5 million in work over the last few years.
We also question the partnership of Chief Fanfarillo with Hardy Metcalf. In 1996 Duffy Platt, member of Hardy Metcalf’s company (see documents below), Har Clay Builders, was under a grand jury investigation for “Using Department Employees For His Firm”. While this is going years back it is in our opinion this shows a pattern of behavior.

What is interesting is that even though there was nothing illegal found according to the article below, Hardy Metcalf’s company Har Clay Builders, INC. was using Borough employees for personal use. This raises some real ethical issues.
Below are the documents showing Har Clay Builders members being both Hardy Metclaf and Clayton Platt. Did Greg Sawyer take over for Mr. Platt?
